The best way to discover Budapest is by riding a scooter! It's cheap, easy-going, and great fun. To drive a 50 cc scooter it's enough to have a regular car license and if you have a motorcycle license you can even rent a more powerful 125 cc scooter that you can also ride with a passenger.

General rental conditions

Driver's license
• 50cc: Car license "B" or Moped license "AM" (50 cc scooters are only for 1 person, it is forbidden to carry a passenger)
• 125cc: Motorcycle license ( EU "A1" or international equivalent)

Refundable Deposit
200 EUR /80.000 HUF cash or Passport/ Photo ID (EU countries only)

Liability
The renter drives the scooter at his/her own risk. The lessor is under no circumstances liable for any direct or indirect damages to the driver arising out of or in connection with the rental. The driver is liable for all fines for breaking traffic rules.
The maximum liability of the renter in case of damages caused to the scooter at his/her fault or in case of theft or loss is 200.000 HUF/ 500 EUR. Damage is calculated according to the price list available at the office.

Fuel policy
The scooters are provided with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank otherwise you will have to pay a refill service charge (10 EUR/50cc, 12 EUR/125cc, and 20 EUR for 125 cc Maxi). Optional Fuel package( you can bring back the scooter with an empty tank)  is available at a reduced price at the beginning of the rental.

Highway Toll ticket
If you would like to use the highways with your 125 cc scooter it is obligatory to buy the toll road ticket which costs 8 EUR /3000 HUF and is valid for up to 10 days for all toll highways in Hungary. If you use the highways without a ticket you will get a fine. 50 cc scooters are forbidden on highways

Delays and rental extension
The scooter must be brought back at the time indicated in your rental agreement. The grace period for delays is 30 minutes (not applicable for 4-hour rentals). For delays over the grace period, we may charge a 1-day extra rental cost. In case you have a delay please call our office. You can prolong your rental by phone subject to availability.

Reservation, Pick up and Drop off time
You can reserve a scooter by phone anytime. By email and using the online reservation system, you can reserve up to 24 hours before the rental. Pick up and drop off of the scooters is available from Monday to Sunday 10.00-18.00  according to the time confirmed in your reservation. If you would like to change your pick-up or drop-off time please call the office. Please note that if you don't pick up the scooter 30 minutes after the confirmed pick-up time we may cancel your reservation without notice. If you may have a delay picking up the scooter please call the office.

Pick-up location and Opening Times
Our address is 1053 Budapest Vamhaz körút 10  ( The office is located inside the house courtyard). Our office is generally open in the summer season (1APR-31OCT) on weekdays from 10.00-18.00. On the weekends and national holidays, we are open on request subject to an advance reservation.
