Riding a scooter
Pepole who can ride a bicycle well most probably would be able to ride a scooter as well. According to our experience after a few minute flat ride you can get your confidence riding a scooter safely. Each tour starts with a technical briefing explaning you the handling of the scooter and give you safety instructions. If required we can also give you short practicing before we start the tour.
Participants must be at least 18 year old (or accompanied by a parent), must hold a valid driver’s licence and must be able to drive a scooter safely. Participation on the tours is at your own risk
Driver’s licences and scooters
50 cc single seat scoooter: Car (B) or moped licence (AM) required. According to Hungarian Law it is prohibited tor ride with a passengers on 50 cc scooters.
125 cc double seat scooter: motorcycle licence ( EU category min. A1 or above ) required. You can also drive it with a passenger.
Riding with a passenger on 125 cc scooter
If you are in posession of motorcycle licence you can book the tour riding with a passenger in double on 125 cc scooter (subject to availibility). In case the tour guide can also take one passenger on his scooter
The scooters are provided only with 3-rd party liability insurance that covers only the damages to a 3-rd party caused at your fault. It does not cover the damages of your scooter or medical expenses in case of an accident. In case you make damage of the scooter at your fault you must cover it. We advise you to make a travel insurance that covers your medical expenses in case of accident.
Tour difficulty levels
We classify the tous in 3 difficulty levels to give you and idea what level of the driving skill is required to complete the full tour programme safely at the given time.
Easy: short distance tours with less traffic, lower speed (20-30 km/h) and less dificult route (eg: when a tour starts with a longer flat ride you can more easily improve your confidence till you get to the hills),
Medium: short distance tours with more traffic, higher speed (30-40 km/h) and more difficult route (eg: when the tour starts with longer drive on the hills)
Advanced: long distance tours with medium/ top speed (40-50 km/h), driving on busy roads in and outside the city or driving after dark.
Public tours are shared tours. Also other participants can book the same tour and you will tour together with them.
Private tours are exclusively for you. When you book a private tour there are no other participants that tour is only for you. It gives you also an extra comfort touring at your own desired pace and if you have a particular request you can discuss it with the tour guide who will do his best to customise the tour itinerary for you.
Tour duration is the approximate duration of the tour including the time for check in, technical breafing and practicing.

What’s included in the tour price
English speaking tour guide, scooter with safety helmet, 3-rd party liability insurance gas, intercom radio with headset. Meals and entrance fees are generally not included in the tour price unless specificly indicated as included

We accept payments in cash in Euro (EUR) or Hungarian Forints (HUF) and credit cards.
We provide full refund for cancellations up to 72 hours before the tour. No refund for cancelllations within 72 hours
You must show up at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to the tour start for check in and must present your driver’s licence.
